TNP recruits ahead of growth year

Lancaster-based technology firm TNP (The Networking People) is to increase its workforce by as much as 25 per cent to fulfill its ambitious growth plans for 2019.

The firm currently employs 30 and specialises in developing and supporting digital network activity for local authorities, health trusts and education institutions across the UK.

It was founded within Infolab21 at Lancashire University in 2012, though there are plans to move to larger premises to house the growing workforce.

TNP has grown year on year since its inception and is now one of the country’s leading independent digital network specialists.

Chris Wade, business development director, said: “Our company is seeking experienced engineers to join our development team to help grow the business over the next 12 months.

"TNP already has a solid customer base of local authorities and health trusts alongside colleges and universities. We are now exploring exciting new opportunities to help the public sector meet the challenges of ensuring their networks are fit for purpose and able to deliver Cloud-services for staff and the general public.” TNP provides a complete range of network services from engineering, connectivity and the supply of hardware through to security resilience and support. Its consultancy services include advising organisations and institutions on moving to cloud-services and assessing the cloud-ready status of their networks.
