‘Tis the season to sparkle at the Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa

Welcoming more than 6,000 guests over the festive season, the Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa knows how to ensure you have a magical Christmas and New Year.

A beautiful 700-year-old country manor retaining many of its original features, Dunkenhalgh Hotel sits in a serene setting in the countryside of Blackburn.

And with great entertainment and sensational, mouth-watering food in magnificent surroundings you can dine, party or relax in style.

From 999 Party Nights offering celebration on a budget to luxury overnight stays, Dunkenhalgh Hotels offers a range of options beginning in late November and continuing through the Christmas period and beyond.

This season’s hot ticket for anyone dreaming of a magical Christmas is our Night Before Christmas Party - an unforgettable evening of decadence, dining and dancing. Think full-on glamour and festive glitz. With seasonal sparkle and dramatic décor, there’s more than enough fizz and fun for everyone.

Dining options include festive butter-roast turkey and traditional Christmas pudding. There’s a fully stocked bar, and a disco will play party tunes late into the night.

Prices begin at £27.50 per person and parties will be hosted on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in November and December. Private bookings are also available for larger groups.

Dunkenhalgh Hotel also offers a number of ways to see in the New Year, including cosy candlelight dinners, a glamorous black tie ball, and a family-themed celebration featuring mocktails and party music played by the resident DJ.

All bookings can also be combined with overnight stays and packages from the luxury spa. Facilities include, for the more energetic, a techno gym and a 12-metre indoor swimming pool with adjoining whirlpool, and for those looking to relax, a thermal suite incorporating a laconium, steam room, rock sauna, aroma grotto and bio sauna.
