Time to party at Lancaster Chamber's Annual Dinner

First it was a Masquerade Ball and now it seems the Lancaster District Chamber of Commerce is going one step further this year by holding a fun themed affair at its Annual Dinner.

The event, which takes place on Friday 17th October at Lancaster House Hotel, will see live entertainment from The Funk Circus - an exceptional funk-soul band, fun caricature portraits by local artist Jack Knight as well as reception bubbly, 3 course meal and dancing.

So far this formal black tie event has attracted support from local companies such as Harrison Drury Solicitors, Superfast Lancashire, Baines Wilson LLP and Printing Plus.

Brett Cooper, associate at Harrison Drury solicitors, said: “Since opening our Lancaster office at the beginning of 2014 we have been overwhelmed by the positivity of the response from the city’s businesses and professional community. We want to play our part in promoting Lancaster’s prosperity, so we fully support the work of the chamber and we’re pleased to give our backing to what is always the one of the biggest events in the local business calendar.”

Karen Hayton, Business Development Advisor at Superfast Lancashire says: “We work closely with the Chamber via our free Business Support programme and share the same aspiration to help Lancashire based firms to develop and grow their business, all for the good of the local economy. We’re delighted to be involved in their annual dinner in October and look forward to seeing many local firms there, and would encourage businesses to go along and strengthen existing relationships and take the opportunity to develop new ones.

Award winning local photographer Elle Jones of PhotoBaby will again be capturing the banter and atmosphere at this fun-filled evening. The Dinner will also be raising funds for Rosemere Cancer Foundation on the night.

Rebecca Walker, Events & Marketing Officer at the Chamber adds; ‘We are delighted to be bringing a relaxed yet fun-filled element to this year’s Annual Dinner, with so much support from local businesses, we’re really excited to be able to provide what promises to be a memorable and entertaining evening for all”. Tickets for the Chamber Annual Dinner are available from Lancaster District Chamber of Commerce, you can book online at www.lancaster-chamber.org.uk/events or email [email protected]. £45 +VAT for Chamber Members or table of 8 for £320 +VAT.
