More than 700 guests attended a special dinner to see Preston-based luxury tile and bathroom company Tile Mart relaunch as 'Roccia'.

Roccia has served clients across the UK for 22 years, and has decided to move forwards with a name that better represents their brand values.

Operations manager, Luckman Ismail, said: “We were delighted to see so many guests sharing in this celebration with us. My highlights from the event included two incredibly moving speeches. The first came from Paul Kelly, founder of Tilemaster Adhesives, who we were honoured to hear share his personal journey to success.

"We also heard from Dr Mahmood Chandia, a senior lecturer UCLAN, who delivered a powerful speech on the topic of business ethics.

“We couldn’t have been more pleased with how the event unfolded, and it was excellent to share our vision for the future over a delicious dinner, with great entertainment and many distinguished guests."

Roccia also raised a total of £4,830 in charitable donations and sponsorship at the dinner for St Catherine’s Hospice, The Bolton Hospice, and the Baby Beat Appeal, as well as helping to sponsor local up-and-coming boxer Khaleel Majid.

Tile Mart was launched in 1994 with the simple dream of addressing the local shortage of high quality wall and floor tiles, therefore bringing more choice to the local community.

It was quickly recognised that people from all over the country could benefit from the huge selection and competitive prices, which is why the company expanded with a much larger team and multiple warehouses and showrooms.

Mr Ismail added: “Even though we have just celebrated 20 years of success, we are already looking forward to the next 20 years. Our rebranding is incredibly exciting and demonstrates our investment in the future of the company. With our showrooms in Preston and Bolton, we show no signs of slowing down and continue to make positive changes to the business every day. “With clients from all over the UK, it is not surprising that we are considered as being the number one tile retailer. We would like to thank all of our customers for joining us on this journey in Preston and Bolton over the last 20 years, and a special thanks to those who have been with us since the beginning.”
