Three firms make Sunday Times hot list
Three Lancashire companies have earned places on the latest Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250, the league table of the UK’s leading mid-market private companies.Burnley-based Discount retailer The Original Factory Shop ranked 194th with sales of £162m.
Frozen food supplier Yeardsley, based in Heysham, ranked 198th with sales of £159.8m, whilst Preston's Eric Wright Group ranked 202nd with turnover reaching £157.7m.All three firms were new entries on the list, ranking alongside national household names such as Boden, Nando’s, Pret a Manger, Selfridges, Virgin Active and Yeo Valley.
