Themis at Burnley College is hosting various exciting activities to mark National Apprenticeship Week 2024.
The college is showcasing its unrivalled links with leading business across the North West and beyond, it’s cutting-edge facilities and the exceptional levels of support and guidance it offers ambitious Apprentices.
The week sees everything from guest speakers to insightful talks on the power of Apprenticeships to in-depth preparation sessions on how to ensure you’re the best you can be at interview and how Apprenticeships can take you all the way to degree-level and beyond.
The week started early on Friday, 2 February, when star of ‘The Apprentice’ and entrepreneur Adam Corbally shared his advice and expertise on staying ahead of the rest in a series of motivational masterclasses.
Other events include CV workshops, insights on how to find the perfect employer, school leaver interview workshops, an army apprenticeship stall, and an apprenticeship round table.
Hannah Cutler, head of Themis apprenticeships, said: "National Apprenticeship Week is one of the most important dates in the Themis calendar as it allows us shine the spotlight on apprenticeships and the limitless opportunities they offer.
“This year we have so many exciting events taking place, seven days just wasn’t long enough.
“As part of our celebrations, we’re also preparing to wave off a group of apprentices and T Level learners on an exciting journey to act as ambassadors with a globally-recognised employer. It's a real first for us!"
