The Woodland Spa launches Terrace Bar

A new outdoor heated Terrace Bar has officially been opened at The Woodland Spa, Burnley.

The Terrace Bar is the latest addition to the recently completed extension of the Spa’s outdoor facilities.

The £750,000 investment plan has seen the outdoor terrace areas substantially increase in size with the new large infinity spa pool and a fabulous outdoor fire pit, which is surrounded by comfortable sofas - perfect when relaxing with a cocktail.

Tapas is served in the Terrace Bar to spa guests up until early evening, which only serves to enhance the experience that our spa guests tell us they enjoy.

On Friday and Saturday evenings from 9pm till 1am, the Terrace Bar will be the place to ‘see and be seen’ as it morphs into a cosmopolitan cocktail and champagne bar.

Guests dining in Bertram’s Restaurant will be invited to join spa guests and add their name to the ‘VIP guest list’ to be entertained with live music and dancing.

Managing director, Andrew Brown, said: “We continue to invest in Crow Wood Leisure and the Spa is a centrepiece of our offer.

“We are currently Global Luxury Spa of the Year, but with every year the bar raises, so we have to invest to ensure that we are providing our guests with affordable luxury and a first class experience.

“The new Terrace area features retractable roofs to create the perfect all-weather ambient atmosphere. We have had incredibly positive feedback – especially with the recent excellent weather. "People feel like they’re on holiday in the Burnley Riviera!  On Friday & Saturday evenings, the area comes alive as a luxurious and totally unique bar concept.”
