The Wellbeing Farm, a leading innovator in sustainable weddings, is thrilled to announce its double win at the prestigious Sustainable Wedding Awards, recognised as an outstanding business committed to reducing the environmental impact of weddings and promoting ethical practices within the industry.

Celia Gaze, founder of The Wellbeing Farm is honoured to be awarded both the Net Zero Leader and Sustainable Change Maker awards. The accolades recognises the Farm’s unwavering commitment to building a more environmentally friendly and ethical wedding industry. The judges were deeply impressed by their unique approach, highlighting the passion for sustainable practices and the positive impact they are making.

As a B Corp-certified business, sustainability is embedded in the business’ core values. From sourcing local, seasonal food, to utilising renewable energy and implementing waste reduction strategies, The Wellbeing Farm strives to minimise their environmental footprint at every turn, all contributing to a holistic well-being experience.

Celia said: “Imagine a future for hospitality where you turn up at the venue knowing that it has been independently certified to belong to a community dedicated to using their power for good. You walk into the venue knowing that the decor generates zero waste and won’t harm the planet.

"The food has been locally sourced from British seasonal ingredients. You have no guilt from leaving leftover food on your plate as you  know the organic compounds in the food will be reused as bio gas. Even the serviette you use to wipe your hands is sustainable. Every sip of house wine from the glass in your hand is funding conservation projects that help protect our oceans and the animals that live in them. Any rubbish created is segregated and recycled.

"You dance to the beat of a band powered by renewable energy. Instead of your event destroying the planet, your event seeks to make a positive impact. That’s the future we are building - where everything is considered through a lens of sustainability - including financial, community, staff and wellbeing sustainability.”

She added: "Winning these awards is a true validation of our team's tireless efforts. We believe that creating beautiful and joyful weddings can, and should, go hand-in-hand with environmental responsibility. This recognition inspires us to continue pushing boundaries and leading the way for a more sustainable future in the wedding industry."

Michelle Miles, founder of the Sustainable Wedding Awards, commented:  “We are incredibly impressed by The Wellbeing Farm's commitment to sustainability. Their innovative approach and dedication to reducing their impact are truly inspiring. We are thrilled to present them with the Net Zero Leader and Sustainable Change Maker awards and look forward to seeing them continue to lead the way in the sustainable wedding movement.”
