“The new era of North Star” – A note from our director

North Star Article Cover.png.png

When we first started North Star Projects, I genuinely didn’t know just how far we’d go.

We began with a simple mission: help businesses to succeed.

We wanted to help companies deliver better projects, improve their operations, strategically grow and just do better as a whole. That was it.

Darren and myself worked hard; rolling up our sleeves at any given opportunity, helping businesses bring structure to chaos, and leave their operations better than we found them.

We tailored our method of working to our clients’ to ensure that we always delivered a high standard of operations and projects that we would be happy to operate. We initially focussed our offerings around supply chain, logistics, and IT – due to our vast experience and network in these verticals.

Fast forward to now, and we’re in a very different place; not just in the focus of leaving things better than when we first start our engagement with a client, but in terms of the scale of our projects, in how we think, how we operate, and what we offer – and most importantly, the approach in our delivery.

So, we decided it was time to change the way we present ourselves too.

A brief history of North Star

We started our company in 2019 and in the early days, it was all consultancy combined with hands-on delivery – advising projects and fixing what was broken, standing up programmes that had stalled, and helping businesses move faster with a bit more confidence. Shaping programmes or projects that weren’t there.

But over time, the asks changed. Clients have wanted more than project support. They wanted long-termer value - stronger governance, benchmarking, operational excellence thinking, smarter systems, operational clarity, and target delivery models that could grow with them. We’ve been asked for organisation re-designs, business strategies, project delivery in construction, defence, SMEs, HR, and operations teams that had nothing to do with our planned verticals.

We delivered; We listened; we adapted; we got stuff done and to amazing results, and now, we’re building something far bigger than just being a consultancy.

Where we are now and where we’re headed

We’ve honed in on what makes the biggest impact to the client.

We are now proud to present ourselves as a boutique consultancy focussed across three core service areas:

Within these three core pillars we offer help in a wide range of industries and business areas:

It’s important to note that our services don’t just stop with delivery, we are now also offering training in all 3 of these areas, having delivered bespoke and structured training to numerous clients before.

You can read more about our training here: Project management Training

The move to take the plunge and streamline our services really came from our clients and their needs, and whilst we maintain our high experience in supply chain, logistics, and IT/Digital transformation, we have delivered, and are delivering in many more verticals, such as retail & ecommerce, so it only seems fitting that we broaden our horizons and implement our own change.

This isn’t just a rebrand or a service refresh. It’s a reflection of how our clients’ needs and our capabilities - have evolved.

So why the Website Now?

Because it’s time our brand reflected the business we’ve become.

This new site is cleaner, clearer, and sharper. It shows who we are, how we think, and what we actually do - without the fluff. It actually showcases that we get stuff done, and honestly – it reflects that what we have done isn’t just rare. Its Legendary.

Check out our NEW Website

I’m proud of where we started, but I’m even more excited about where we’re going.
