The Landmark celebrates two years as a thriving business community

The Landmark is now two years old, and we’ve shared the celebration with local charity Burnley Together.

How time flies! It doesn’t seem like long ago we were just setting out on our journey, renovating the amazing Landmark building and setting up the Business Club.

We’ve had a fantastic time and we’d like to say thanks to everyone who’s helped us along the way.

Now we’re two years down the road, and we’ve never looked back. In fact, we’re busier than ever right now which means we must be doing something right. Over the past 6 months we’ve seen a 400% increase in our Business Club membership!

Our first two years of business have been great fun. It’s been a challenge. We’ve made a lot of friends along the way, and we’ve built a thriving business community. That’s why we couldn’t let this milestone go by unnoticed, so we decided to share our celebration with everybody else.

We donated a delicious birthday cake to the heroic staff and volunteers at Burnley Together, and our good friends at Cherry Tree Bakery added a few of their own baked goods too.

Burnley Together is a partnership between Burnley Borough Council and other local organisations working to support people through the coronavirus pandemic. The Landmark is a business community, but we exist inside the broader local community, so organisations like Burnley Together are close to our hearts.

Burnley Together Community Manager Alicia Foley

The Landmark Manager Claire Rhodes was in charge of organising the celebration. She said: “I can’t believe it’s already been two years! Because of covid we couldn’t have the large celebration we hoped for, so instead we decided to donate the birthday cake to our friends at Burnley Together, who give so much time to helping others through this pandemic.”

On top of the cake donation we also offered free one day passes to the Business Club. For a short time, we threw open the doors for people to come and check out everything we’ve got on offer. There’s the ultrafast WiFi, the hot desks and collaborative working areas, the coffee bar, through to the formal private offices and meeting rooms.

So don’t delay. If you’re interested in visiting The Landmark and seeing how we could change the way you work, please stop by for a socially distanced chat, alternatively call 01282 940095 or email [email protected].

Our staff are on hand ready to answer your questions.
