Through a day of practical workshops, primary school teachers were given training to deliver exciting and engaging engineering activities within the classroom.
Teachers were shown how to create Halloween themed shoe box vehicles, an activity which is suitable to be taught from Year 4, and can then be entered into the Primary Engineer’s national competition.
“We also actively encourage businesses to get involved by supporting the schools. Participating businesses help to create local STEM Ambassadors and forge links between industry and education.”
