Taylor Patterson raises £6,000 for The Foxton Centre

During 2015 staff at Taylor Patterson have helped raise £6,033.32 for The Foxton Centre, Preston.

The Foxton Centre aims to work with the most marginalised communities in Preston to provide them with opportunities to flourish. The centre helps support rough sleepers, people with alcohol abuse issues and others in the community who need support, for over 40 years.

Louise Potter, office manager at Taylor Patterson, commented: “Each year Taylor Patterson chooses a local charity to donate their annual fundraising activities to. We are delighted to have raised this amount for such a wonderful charity. I am grateful to all Taylor Patterson staff, clients and professional contacts that have supported our fund raising efforts throughout 2015.”

Jeff Marsh, CEO at The Foxton Centre, added: “ We have been delighted by the support we have received from the staff at Taylor Patterson and also from their clients over the past twelve months. The money they all raised will be put to good use helping the homeless and vulnerable in the city.

"However the moral support and understanding they have shown is just as valuable and has made a big impression on our staff and service users. One of the best parts of this year has been the fun we’ve all had taking part in the fund raising events, many thanks from everyone at the Foxton.”

The fund raising activities undertaken during 2015 included our annual quiz and golf day, Christmas raffle, running a staff tuck shop, along with donating food items each month to The Foxton Centre’s food bank in return for wearing casual clothes in the office.
