Accountancy and advisory firm MHA Moore and Smalley has strengthened its tax team with a senior promotion in Lancashire.
David Hackett, who joined the firm as a graduate trainee 16 years ago after graduating from Lancaster University, has been promoted to tax partner at the firm’s Preston office.
David specialises in tax planning for owner-managed businesses. His new role will include greater management responsibility for MHA Moore and Smalley’s team of tax advisers as well as advising a wide range of corporate and personal clients.
He will also contribute to strategic planning for MHA Moore and Smalley’s tax team as well as the wider tax department of the MHA partnership. David will continue to support clients in areas including Preston, Blackpool and Manchester.
