Supporting the ongoing development of long-standing client, EBP

Established in 1929, EBP Building Products (formerly known as Ensor Building Products Ltd), is one of the UK’s leading providers of building, roofing and drainage products to the construction industry.

With a strong working relationship now spanning almost ten years, the F&W and EBP partnership first began back in 2011, following a successful management buyout and change in ownership of the EBP operation.

“When the changes were taking place within our business, we were looking to join forces with a well-established company, who were professional in their approach and had a good reputation,” says EBP Operations Manager, Eamonn O’Boyle. “In doing some research around local haulage companies, we read some good things about Fagan & Whalley and decided to approach them.

“Being able to build a relationship with our haulier was a really important factor for us. Whilst considering the services on offer, we were also looking to welcome on board a team who we would enjoy working alongside. Almost ten years on, I think it’s safe to say we found them!”

“EBP have an established client base across the UK, and our teams are responsible for ensuring their products reach those clients efficiently, which involves consignments being consolidated at our cross-dock facility to then be distributed through our groupage service or pallet network nationwide,” says Graham Clare, Head of Sales and Business Development at F&W. “It’s a service we’ve provided for them for several years now, and it’s been a pleasure to see the company grow and evolve in the time we’ve been working with them.”

“We’ve been consistently happy with the service we’ve received from Fagan & Whalley. Their drivers are almost ambassadors for our company - they’re the people our clients interact with most frequently, the ‘face’ of the business, if you will, and they’re always professional and polite. We regularly receive compliments from our customers on our delivery service, and of course, that’s all thanks to the team at Fagan & Whalley!”

Are you looking for a well-established, Lancashire-based transport and logistics specialist to provide palletised or groupage distribution services for your company? Contact Fagan & Whalley today to find out more about the operation.
