Not-for-profit organisation, Active Lancashire, are currently seeking local organisations to support their flagship event, The Lancashire Sports Awards 2019.

The Lancashire Sports Awards, now in their eighteenth year, pay tribute to those, young and old, that show dedication to perform at the highest level or those who work tirelessly to support individuals or clubs week in, week out, for the love of sport. The event is attended by 300-400 people each year made up of coaches, volunteers, athletes and their families with ages ranging from 8 - 98. The event is also attended by sport influencers, enthusiasts and decision makers within sports clubs, schools and organisations.

This year the awards ceremony is taking place at The Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Clayton Le Moors on Friday 22nd November. There will be a drinks reception upon arrival, followed by a three-courses dinner and various surprises throughout the evening.

Active Lancashire is a charitable organisation who would not be able to continue in holding the awards without the support of local organisations, thus sponsoring the Lancashire Sports Awards could be a fantastic way of giving something back to your local community and the inspiring individuals who go above and beyond to create sport and physical activity opportunities for all across Lancashire.

You have the potential to make a huge impact on an event which means a great deal to Lancashire residents.

In addition to this, supporting the awards could be a great way of building your profile amongst Active Lancashire's networks, providing you with access to multiple events throughout the year and a whole host of key-industry contacts.

Active Lancashire has a proven record of accomplishment on providing sponsors with a very high return on investment and, consequently, the sponsorship packages represent excellent value for money.

Sponsorship packages are available to suit all budgets and packages will be tailored to business requirements. Sponsor listings on their website and social media promotion will start as soon as the agreement is confirmed, thus the earlier you sign up, the higher the value of your return on investment will be.

Headline sponsorship is no longer available for 2019 as a newly agreed partnership with Collinson Construction has been confirmed.

Confirmed category sponsors for this year are:

Primary School of the Year - Westholme School Secondary School of the Year - UCLan

Categories still available for 2019 are as follows:

Volunteer of the Year Community Project of the Year Services to Underrepresented Groups Club of the Year Coach of the Year Young Achiever of the Year The Jimmy Armfield Lifetime Achievement Award

If you are interested in supporting the Lancashire Sports Awards and wish to find out more about what's included, please contact Sadie Riley on [email protected] or call 01772 299830.
