Sunshine called on for Asics sports day

Sunshine Events, the Preston-based company supplying fun equipment for hire, has helped  global sportswear firm Asics with an informal sports day.

Sunshine provided a range of activities including Egg and Spoon, Sack Racing and Tug of War for the company's internal sports day.

And in a double celebration for the 'fun experts', Sunshine also secured further work with Genting Casinos UK, a long-term client of the business. The Genting deal includes repeat orders for props to support their promotional campaigns including a 100 giant deckchairs for a recent event.

The good news follows an impressive 12 months for the firm which has seen turnover climb 30 per cent.

Director of fun, Sunny Sandwell said: “It’s fair to say that the last few months have been nothing short of incredible. We’ve continued repeat projects with some of our long-standing clients as well as securing new projects with world leading brands like Asics." Founded 14 years ago by Sunny and James Sandwell, Sunshine Events now employs more than 50 people. The firm hires out quality fun equipment including giant inflatable Hungry Hippos, Virtual Reality Experiences machines, Side Stalls, Casino Tables and giant Snow Globes for large fun days, exhibitions and office parties.
