Sundown Solutions Ltd has invested over £300,000 in corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives this year, including a new deal with local sports charity Accrington Stanley Community Trust.

The progressive IT Consulting Company has recently announced the latest in its series of community projects. They have become the main sponsor for the brand new, ultra-modern meeting room at Accrington Stanley Community Trust.

Sundown Solutions is already the primary sponsor for Accrington Stanley Girls and Ladies’ team football shirt. Now they have aligned themselves even more closely with the Community Trust by sponsoring their sleek new meeting rooms.

Accrington Stanley Community Trust is an entirely self-funding, registered charity. They are committed to improving community cohesion and addressing societal problems like obesity and anti-social behaviour by encouraging people to take part in sporting activities.

Martin Fearon from Accrington Stanley Community Trust commented: “Sundown Solutions’ sponsorship will help us engage further with the local community. We’re here to support all people in Hyndburn and promote a healthier lifestyle through sport and education. We want to say a massive thanks to all the staff at Sundown. With their help we can continue delivering over 30 projects to over 20,000 people each year.”

“We are an independent, self-supporting charity, so we rely on sponsorship and donations.”

Community minded tech firm Sundown Solutions delivers security focused IT services. They are a true gem of the local economy with an impressive list of high-profile clients including important global organisations. Among others they have a direct business relationship with Microsoft.

Sundown Solutions explained about their CSR programme: “We’re determined to make a difference with our activities. So many people work with computers and screens, sitting down all day, that’s why we identified Accrington Stanley Community Trust as a top local charity. They are dedicated to promoting active, healthy lifestyles. Sport and exercise are vital, especially these days with coronavirus restrictions impacting on our ability to get out and about.”
