Sundown Solutions flies flag for Accrington at Red Rose Awards

Hyndburn-based tech company, Sundown Solutions, have been flying the flag for Accrington at the prestigious Lancashire-based Red Rose Awards – with a win!

The Red Rose Awards, now in their 11th year, are given out at a flagship event held at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens. This is the premier event where Lancashire business, commerce and industry are celebrated, organised by business magazine Lancashire Business View. 

The winners were announced to the largest-ever audience of 1,200, at an event postponed from its usual month, meaning it was 20 months between ceremonies. The evening also featured food sourced from Lancashire suppliers, and Lancashire-based musicians and entertainers including fire jugglers.

Sundown Solutions won the Scale-up Award, sponsored by Two Zero, which was open to businesses that could demonstrate at least a 20% increase in turnover scale-up in their latest financial year, while navigating the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The superb feedback from the judges included that: "Sundown Solutions is an excellent example of a business scaling up responsibly and robustly. Very well rounded in all aspects of business, they are innovative, dynamic and ambitious."
