Lingwood Security Management has recently updated its RISQ codes to enable the company to provide Safety Critical Rail Labour to its clients.

In response to the COVID-19 breakout, one of the things our management team looked at was new ways to work with existing clients, to help them get back to work as quickly as possible.

Following conversations with our clients, through our extensive CRM system, it became immediately clear that it would be helpful to them if they could use Lingwood Security Management as a one-stop-shop for their security, cleaning and labour hire. All services provided by one supplier, meaning they only deal directly with one person and everything is then coordinated for them from there.

As a result, we approached RISQS to update our supplier codes to enable us to expand our remit of services under their accreditation. Our updated codes will be verified by audit.

Positive Strategy

This positive strategy has allowed us to expand our own business and give our clients what they require at the same time, so it represents a winning outcome for all concerned.

Speaking following the update, Alan Lingwood, Managing Director, said: “2020 has been a year like no other, both on a business level and a personal level. We’ve seen unprecedented changes in the national workplace, with an explosion in PPE requirements and temporary legislation covering all things from distancing to working hours. One of the things we always strive to be at Lingwood Security Management is responsive. Responsive to change; responsive to client needs and responsive to emerging needs in the wider market. This update to our RISQS codes is the result of great work by the management team, thinking on their feet and acting quickly to support our clients once again. Well done to all involved.”
