Celebrations were in full swing at a popular Longridge gastro pub as it celebrated two successful years in business.

The Derby Arms, part of the award-winning Seafood Pub Company group, celebrated its second birthday by holding an event on site for family, friends and customers.

The stunning pub venue has also launched a brand new menu to coincide with the celebrations.

Ryan Taylor, general manager said: “The Derby Arms is a fantastic attraction located in the heart of the Ribble Valley countryside.

“The business has gone from strength to strength since opening and we wanted to do something special to mark the occasion.

“We’ve been speaking to customers and gathering their feedback regarding the menu, and are delighted to add some fantastic new dishes to the mix, as well as keeping some of the classic favourites.”

Guests were invited to the Derby Arms to enjoy an evening of complimentary prosecco, nibbles and tasters from the new menu, live entertainment and networking opportunities.

The new menu includes dishes such as hake with braised peas, baby onions and smoked bacon, the D.A.B – Derby Arms burger with melting cheese and bacon, crispy onions, barbecue sauce and fries, and a Malaysian seafood curry with seasonal fish, king prawns, chilli sambal, prawn crackers and coconut rice, plus a lunch time menu which is available Monday to Saturday 12 noon until 5pm.

Adam Jenyon, head chef at the Derby Arms said: “The birthday celebrations and new menu are a great way to celebrate everything special about the Derby Arms. “The new menu has already been really well received, and with our daily specials board focusing on sensational seafood dishes, customers are pleased by our offering.”
