Steve Jackson OBE crowned Entrepreneur of the Year

Steve Jackson OBE, CEO of Preston-based Recycling Lives, has been crowned Entrepreneur of the Year at the Growing Business Awards 2015 for his lifelong dedication to entrepreneurship and his commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.

The award recognises Steve’s unique vision for Recycling Lives, in addition to recent company growth despite challenging market conditions. The acquisition of an industry-leading fragmentiser and the development of web-based community recycling services, Community Dotcoms, has prepared the business for growth over the next five years.

Recycling Lives is now working with more blue chip clients providing national waste and metal contracts. The company also strives to find innovative solutions to divert waste from landfill, achieving up to 100 per cent recycle rates across the business.
