Stamp of approval for Burnley-based renewables specialist

The Low Carbon Energy Company has gained national independent accreditation for its services from The Carbon Trust.

Consumers use the scheme to ensure energy efficient equipment and renewable technology suppliers are meeting national and international standards. It provides independent validation and recognition of a supplier's skills and services.

Richard Garth-Jones, director at The Low Carbon Energy Company said: “We are the first local provider approved on the scheme and one of the first 50 in the UK  and are delighted once again to be seen to be leading the way in renewable energy and sustainability.

“There are risks when making significant investments in renewable technologies if you use inexperienced and sales driven organisations. Our policy in offering a broad offer is to ensure the customer gets what they need and not what we think we can sell them.” The Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier scheme offers assurances of quality standards for renewable energy installations.
