Solar Communications acquires Denwa

Solar Communications has acquired Burnley-based Denwa for an undisclosed sum.

A business communications provider with offices in London, Chippenham, Manchester and Harlow, Solar is bolstering its managed services offering, adding the experience and expertise of Denwa into its portfolio. This latest strategic move will significantly strengthen Solar’s share of the business communications marketplace, and enhance its position as a leading managed service cloud provider.

The enhanced portfolio offers increased choice to the customers of both businesses, allowing them to take advantage of new and innovative capabilities across a range of leading edge technologies, including SD WAN, Contact Centre, On-site and Cloud Storage and a wide range of business-enhancing solutions.

Solar welcomes Denwa’s employees who will play a vital role in driving the Group’s UC offering, drawing on the extensive experience, technical understanding and customer-focused service of the team.

Rob Scott, the founder and managing director of Denwa will leave the business following the transfer of operations.
