Sign firm wins national awards

The Central Lancashire division of Signs Express has won three of the firm's national awards.

The Preston-based operation won awards for Most Striking Design, Best Interior Sign and Employee of the Year.

The first two of these awards related to a Christmas display produced for Blackpool Victoria Hospital, which measured 12 metres in height and featured a train track floor graphics.

Matt Rutlidge, centre manager at Signs Express (Central Lancashire), won the Employee of the Year Award.

Alongside taking home the top awards, the team were also finalists in the Best Exterior Sign category for their work at the White Bull Mews pub where they installed a 3D printed bull to replace a sign that had been stolen earlier in the year.

Ben Hall, owner at Signs Express (Central Lancashire), said: “I can’t begin to explain how proud I am of my team, the work they produce is outstanding across all aspects and I’m so glad our projects have been recognised at the awards. A special mention to Matt who has impressed us all with his amazing work ethic.”
