Setting the bar for the North WestA new bar has been set for businesses across the North West with the launch of Businesswise Solutions’ visionary energy centre.
Hailed as an office setting akin to those found in London or New York, visitors to the interactive space in Nelson, Lancashire, are invited to immerse themselves in a futuristic energy journey like never seen before. Now one of the fastest growing, corporate energy services providers in the UK, Businesswise Solutions is a privately-owned business which was set up in 2010 from a kitchen table by directors Frazer Durris and Dean Cockett.
The business has enjoyed 30-50% revenue growth year on year for each of the last 5 years and is on target to reach a £5m turnover by 2020.Managing director Frazer Durris, who has led the business through this period of growth, said: “We have worked tirelessly over the past six months to transform an empty 10,000sq ft shell into this; a ground-breaking energy centre and engaging workplace for our growing team.
“Energy has long been a fractured market, offering a poor, outdated service. It is our aim change this perception.“We want this to be a space where we can educate customers about the opportunities available to them; disrupting the market using better buying and management methods, new technologies, data and artificial intelligence to their advantage.
“Focussing on long term goals and not short-term profits, we’re looking to grow our team from 40 to 60 by 2019, in order to deliver our ambitious targets.” Guests attending an exclusive launch event were invited to explore the space before gathering to enjoy entertaining and thought-provoking revelations from Burnley Football Club director, Brendan Flood and Dennis Mendoros, former MD of Pendle’s multi-million pound aerospace firm, Euravia.
