Santé Group employee benefits app adds support for caring employees

Memory Lane Games, the Isle of Man based Dementia digital engagement business, has announced a partnership with Santé Group, the Preston-based employee benefits business.

The partnership will see Santé Group embedding the Memory Lane Games’ Structured Cognitive Stimulation App for Dementia into its employee benefits platform, MySanté, to support those employees who are caring for loved ones with the disease.

Every year, thousands of days are lost from work as employees are called away to support elderly loved ones who have become anxious and upset. Often the employee is the only person who can engage with and calm the anxieties of their spouse, or parent. The App will provide a quick and effective tool to share personalised connections and reminiscences, via a third-party supporter/ carer, thus sharing a resource that can calm and reassure. In addition to the Memory Lane Games App functionality, employees will also have access to a wide range of support articles and video-based tutorials, to help them cope with the combined pressures of working and caring.

The content being delivered is currently available to individual families on a monthly subscription, but, as with its other aggregated benefits, such as mental health, debt advice and virtual GP support, Santé Group will supply the content as an integral part of their existing employers’ platform and within the employer’s existing spend.
