Sam Wells joins Orca Finance

Sam Wells has joined Orca Finance as a relationship manager for West Lancs.

He joined the Pod and covers Preston and West Lancashire, working closely with business owners to understand their goals and deliver the right funding solutions to support their growth.

With experience across a broad range of commercial finance products, Sam supports clients with everything from short-term cash flow solutions through to longer-term asset and property funding.

His approach is practical and considered—taking the time to understand each business and ensuring funding is structured in a way that genuinely works.

Having worked at firms including Christie Finance, Sedulo Funding Solutions, Shire Finance, and Close Brother, Sam brings a strong understanding of both client needs and lender expectations. He knows how to position deals properly, communicate clearly, and keep things moving.

Sam is naturally outgoing and confident, whether that’s working with clients, speaking in front of groups, or leading from the front.

As a regular team captain in sport and a current under-16s football coach, he brings a calm, organised and people-focused approach into his day-to-day role.
