Sales Geek, the award-winning sales leadership and training franchise founded in Blackburn in 2017, is proud to formally unveil Sales Geek Scotland.

Building on a presence in Glasgow and Edinburgh since 2022, this expanded remit sees franchise co-owners Peter Barclay and Davie Sneddon, and their initial team of four, scaling their operations to cover the entire country of Scotland.

What began in Blackburn in 2017 as a small but ambitious venture has grown into a global franchise network supporting the UK, USA, India and other international territories, making Sales Geek the largest provider of part-time sales directors in the world.

Founder Richard Few said: “When I launched Sales Geek in Lancashire, the aim was simple: make top-level sales leadership accessible to businesses of all sizes, not just mega corporations.

"Fast forward to now, and we’re seeing Geeks all over the world delivering exceptional results in their communities.

"On average our Geeks are helping our clients achieve 38% growth in income, representing a 600 per cent return on investment.

"Following on from launching our first franchise in Cornwall last month, our expansion into the whole of Scotland is a significant step in realising our vision of a UK-wide franchise footprint, helping to support business growth the length and breadth of our country.”

Richard added: “I’ve watched Peter and Davie build fantastic traction in Glasgow, forging deep connections and trust with local businesses. Their ambition, drive and values align perfectly with the Sales Geek mission and I have no doubt they will scale Scotland into a powerhouse territory."

Sales Geek's Scottish expansion exemplifies how their franchisees leverage central support, brand credibility, and shared resources to rapidly scale within their own territories. By combining local market understanding with the systems and innovations developed at Sales Geek HQ, franchisees like Peter and Davie are transforming how regional businesses access senior-level sales leadership and growth support.

Peter Barclay, one of the Glasgow Geeks and now co-territory lead, said: “We’ve always believed the Scottish business community has huge untapped potential.

"The work we’ve done in Glasgow has been a proving ground and now we’re ready to broaden that influence.

"Our goal is to embed ethical, results-driven sales culture into businesses across every region, from Aberdeen to the Borders, Inverness to Dumfries.”

Davie Sneddon added: “Expanding to cover all of Scotland is a huge milestone. We are assembling a team of experienced sales professionals, mentoring them, supporting them, and enabling each new franchisee to build their own local ecosystem.

"The franchise model works because each territory is local and we believe Scotland is ready for the level of expertise and partnership our Geeks will provide.”

With full territorial coverage, Sales Geek Scotland will deliver, fractional, part-time Sales Director support for small businesses along with bespoke training, mentoring and diagnostics for companies of all sizes.

Following on from the success of the largest ever Sales Club staged back in June, Sales Geek Scotland hopes to beat that attendance record of over 200 business leaders at it’s next event at Hampden Park on 21 November.

The event will bring together businesses from across Scotland for a full day of inspiration, workshops and connection serving as a powerful launchpad for the newly unified Scotland franchise.

Scotland now represents a compelling opportunity for ambitious sales and business leaders to own a local Franchise across the country, investing locally while benefiting from a proven brand, systems, mentoring, and shared resources.

The team expects strong interest from candidates across Scotland, especially those passionate about Sales Geek’s mission to change the way the world perceives sales.
