Sage 50 Accounts users - upgrade now before significant price increases

Sage has announced the latest upgrade to its Sage 50 Accounts software which is to be released on 01 August 2014.

The release is one of the biggest ever by Sage, as it looks to utilise ‘cloud’ technology with the Sage 50 software for the first time.

Users will have the option of Sage Drive to store data in the cloud, that can then be accessed from different devices that have the software locally installed.

You can of course continue to use the new release as you have always done but the upgrade is also designed to make the software easier to navigate and improve its overall performance.

If you are considering an upgrade, we suggest you act immediately to take advantage of the price hold that is in place for orders placed before 01 August. There is a significant price increase for orders placed after 01 August.

The upgrade includes: A new interface aimed at improving its ease of use The capability to hide inactive records, making it easier to find current customers, suppliers and products. An automated backup manager An increase in the number of concurrent users The capacity to deal with up to 1.5 million transactions The ability to share data with your accountant in real-time through Sage Share Drive Sage is encouraging users to upgrade before the end of July by allowing them to purchase at the current prices, and providing them with Sage 2015 when it is released in August, at no additional cost.
