Roots teams up with Booths to target public

Lancashire vegetable crisp brand Roots has secured a partnership with Booths supermarket to stock the hand cooked vegetable crisps.

Roots BoothsThis is the first supermarket listing for Roots Hand Cooked Vegetable Crisps; which until now have only been available through wholesalers. The crisps will be available in stores including Clitheroe, Fulwood, Garstang, Hesketh Bank, Longton, Lytham, Marton, and Penwortham.

The crisps are made from carrots, parsnips and beetroot grown in Lancashire and across the UK by Tarleton based-Huntapac, which has been supplying Booths with raw vegetables for over 20 years.

Henry Booth, Booths’ buyer, said: “Roots Vegetable Crisps are the perfect fit for Booths as we pride ourselves on supporting local producers and the brand has got born and bred Lancashire credentials.”
