Rocket Centre’s new website has lift off

The Rocket Centre, the North West’s best-loved motorcycle dealership, is revving up the engines on an all-new website, which is set to bring their growing influence on the eCommerce market into sharper focus.

Whilst motorbikes, scooters and quadbikes remain at the very heart of the business’ core operations, the retail division of the Blackburn-based dealership goes from strength-to-strength - as their wide range of clothing, accessories, technology and spares prove to be a huge hit with eCommerce customers across the country.

The freshly pimped site promises to deliver an enhanced customer experience, thanks to a completely new structure to assist visitors in finding popular items quickly and easily. The everyday essentials of helmets, boots and gloves will now be accessible from the Top Nav, whilst extensive work has been completed that will allow the Rocket Centre’s huge back catalogue of products to be filtered by size, brand, and colour.

However, the biggest development for customers will be the fully responsive functionality, which will ensure the the site looks great on any device.

Wayne Ainsworth, eCommerce and Digital Marketing Manager at Rocket Centre said, “With the introduction of Rocket Centre’s fresh new logo, and our online sales growing at pace, we thought a new look website was an absolute must. Bright, crisp and easier navigation was an absolute necessity, and we really hope our customers like it!”

With Christmas approaching quickly and every possible shopping second counting, the website couldn’t have landed at a more appropriate time, particularly as the responsive design will allow shoppers to browse and compare prices while they’re out and about.

In addition to the technical and usability upgrades, a brand new "Explore Rocket Centre" section will also be introduced, where customers can find out about upcoming events, the latest industry news, and meet the department managers. Wayne added “We’re well aware that there’s many small independents across the country working out of lock ups and warehouses, so it was really important for us to get across our passion and enthusiasm for the industry, and really showcase our expertise. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and whether we’re supplying spare parts, or simply recommending a product, our customers know that all our staff know their stuff.”
