ROCCIA Foundation hits Turkey earthquake fundraising goal

In February, a devastating earthquake struck Türkiye (Turkey), leaving behind a trail of destruction, with people and children left without homes, food and family.

In response to this tragedy, the ROCCIA Foundation launched an appeal to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake.

Today, ROCCIA is proud to announce that it has raised a total of £10,000 for the Turkey Earthquake Appeal which will be pledged to the British Red Cross, and the company could not have achieved this without the generous support of its customers, family, friends, staff, and partners.

ROCCIA were able to raise funds from bake sales and auctions to generous donations, every effort made a difference. The funds raised will be directed towards providing emergency relief, medical assistance, and shelter to the people affected by the earthquake.

In particular, ROCCIA would like to thank its suppliers, for their generous donations. This contribution reflects the spirit of partnership that exists within the business community, where companies support each other and work together to help those in need.

Kathryn Hoyle, senior regional fundraiser at the British Red Cross, said: "We are so grateful for the amazing support we have received from the team at Roccia. This generous donation will help us to continue supporting those most affected by the earthquake in Türkiye (Turkey) and Syria. 

"Whether it is distributing essentials like food, water and blankets, setting up temporary shelters or helping to rebuild vital infrastructure, such as hospitals and schools - with help from supporters like Roccia, the British Red Cross will continue to provide vital humanitarian support for the most vulnerable.

"This generous donation will make a real difference to people in their hour of need - so Thank You."
