Lancashire-based Roadshow Promotions are helping public sector organisations deliver vital smoking cessation services directly to communities with their mobile health buses.

Designed to provide accessible support, these fully branded, converted buses serve as mobile clinics, offering expert advice, access to prescription products, and encouragement to aid those looking to quit smoking.

Roadshow Promotions has worked with organisations such as Wakefield Council, converting a single-decker bus into the Wakefield Yorkshire Smokefree Bus for their winter 2024 campaign.

The fully branded mobile hub featured a consultation room where people in the community could access essential support and advice. Similarly, they have supported Richmond and Wandsworth Council with their smoking cessation service, which is just one of their many services that have benefited from a mobile clinic bus.

Mobile health buses offer a flexible and highly visible way to engage communities and provide essential smoking cessation support. Roadshow Promotions fully brand both the interior and exterior of single-decker or double-decker buses, ensuring campaigns are instantly recognisable.

Inside, the space can be designed to create a welcoming environment where people can access one-to-one consultations with trained specialists, receive guidance on prescription products to help them quit, and benefit from expert advice and ongoing encouragement.

Planning and delivering a mobile campaign involves many moving parts, that is why the company takes care of the entire process. The expert team will handle everything from bus conversion and branding to create an engaging and functional space, to route planning that ensures stops at key locations to maximise impact. As well as providing a dedicated driver to keep the bus on schedule and everything running smoothly.

By taking smoking cessation support on the road, public sector organisations can break down barriers to access, making it easier for people in the community to receive the help they need.

If you’re part of a public sector organisation looking for an innovative way to connect with communities and support smoking cessation efforts, contact Roadshow Promotions on 01253 923800 or book a chat here.
