Rising car thefts pushes Chorley's Disklok sales to record levels

Chorley based car security brand, Disklok, has reported record sales this year with turnover increasing 90 per cent since 2014.

It’s standout steering wheel lock achieved a ‘Best Buy’ recommendation from Auto Express magazine after a test of the strongest vehicle security devices.

“Almost half of all car thefts are now carried out without original keys,” he said.

“Physical car security devices first became popular in the ‘80s and ‘90s, but this recent resurgence has taken sales to unprecedented levels. The limited edition champagne model is our way of toasting how far we’ve come in the last twenty years and the fact that the industry recognises Disklok as the strongest product on the market.” As part of the company’s 20 year celebrations it is set to launch a limited edition champagne model of its product.
