Napthens solicitors has expanded its corporate team in East Lancashire with the appointment of Richard Robinson.
Richard joins as a partner from his former role as legal director at Manchester law firm Addleshaw Goddard where he spent the previous nine years acting for a range of high profile clients.
Richard has particular expertise in the healthcare, financial services and leisure sectors, and has also spent time studying and working abroad, including a role at the European Parliament.
At Napthens he will focus on a range of corporate work including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, fundraising and investment, joint ventures and start-ups.
James Allison, partner and head of the East Lancashire office at Napthens solicitors, said: “Richard will play an important part in further developing our work in East Lancashire generally and will provide a focus for healthcare clients, which we anticipate will become a growth area for the firm.
“His appointment demonstrates Napthens’ commitment to East Lancashire and we are delighted to welcome such an experienced and recognised expert to the team. “Napthens already carries out award-winning work for its clients, and this appointment is confirmation that East Lancashire is home to a law firm which can compete with the larger, ‘city’ firms both in the quality of its work and the calibre of staff it can attract.”
