Ribby Hall Village retains five-star rating

Ribby Hall Village has had its five-star rating renewed by Visit England for the 14th consecutive year. It is one of just six holiday villages to hold the rating in England.

A Visit England assessor spent two days at the location, rating the experiences across ten different operational areas including reception services, accommodation, shops, bars, restaurants, entertainment, sports facilities, recreation facilities plus atmosphere and ambiance. Each individual area received a five-star score.

The assessor was particularly impressed with the covid secure procedures in place and positive comments were also made about the quality and choice of restaurants, family activities and sports facilities as well as the helpfulness and friendliness of staff throughout The Village.

Despite being the only holiday village in the North West holding the five-star rating, chief executive Paul Harrison says he plans to continue investing in its facilities even further in 2022.

He said: "Being awarded five-star status for the fourteenth year in a row is a reflection of our continued commitment to providing something new each year for all our customers, both holiday guests and day visitors alike.

"To maintain our five-star rating over a significant period of time, year on year, we need to keep listening to our customers and to keep enhancing our facilities and choice of offerings."

The immediate focus for the business is to continue its ambitious Reeds Bay development, which covers more than 20 acres and features its own five-acre lake alongside 20 high-specification properties. Some of these properties are already sold and are in situ with others set to arrive throughout 2022.
