Red Rose Awards event

The finalists in this year’s much-anticipated Red Rose Awards have been officially unveiled today.

The winner of each of the 25 awards will be announced on stage at a glittering, black tie ceremony held at the iconic Winter Gardens Blackpool on March 12.

In the run up to the big night the shortlisted finalists will make their case to a panel of judges during two days of face-to-face presentations on February 4 and 5.

The awards honour the best of the county’s businesses and organisations in key sectors, from built environment to tourism, while others recognise specific achievements, such as scaling up, and transformation.

Businesses of all sizes are in with a chance of recognition – from micro to large companies and not-for profit and family concerns.

There are three new categories this year – AI and Tech Innovation, Creative Business and Deal of the Year.

Rosebud, Lancashire County Council’s finance and growth support service, is this year’s judging partner and audit, tax and business consultancy firm RSM, another key Red Rose Awards supporter, completed the validation stage of the process.

The winner of each category will receive a bespoke trophy, specially crafted by PDS Engineering.

The Red Rose Awards are once again supported by Forbes Solicitors, headline sponsor every year since the awards were launched in 2011, and Barclays, headline sponsor for more than a decade.

Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View, said: “Announcing this year’s finalists is a moment of real pride for business in Lancashire.

“The calibre of entries in 2026 has been exceptional.

“From start‑ups to long‑established firms, Lancashire businesses are innovating, creating quality jobs and delivering real impact for our communities.

“To all who entered - thank you and to our finalists - congratulations.

“We look forward to seeing our finalists on the judging days (February 4-5) and it’s a chance to hear your fantastic stories of how you fly the flag for Lancashire.”

Tickets are currently available to shortlisted companies before the remainder go on general sale.

The headline sponsors this year are Forbes Solicitors and Barclays, while category sponsors include: BAE Systems (Operations), Brabners, Brysdales, Chorley Borough Council, D&M Creative, Farleys Solicitors, Harrison Drury, High Court Enforcement Group, Napthens, Pierce, PM+M, Porsche Preston and Bolton, Sowena Group, TSS Infrastructure, University of Lancashire and Warden ConstructionMenzies are dinner sponsors, Rosebud are judging partners, Skiddle are Runway and After-Party sponsors and Trident are Energy partners.

The Red Rose Awards supporters and partners include RBC Brewin Dolphin, Bigtank, Burnley FC, Community Foundation for Lancashire, Marketing Lancashire, Merchandise4impact, Park Hall Hotel, PDS Engineering, Peter Scott Printers, RSM, Sales Geek Lancashire, Shout Connect, The Fun Experts, The Royal Dyche, and Viva

The charity partner is Lancashire and South Cumbria Hospices Together.

A full write-up of the awards will be published on www.lancashirebusinessview.co.uk and featured in the May/June edition of Lancashire Business View.
