Remsol launches Associate Consultant Programme

By Remsol Limited

08 Aug 2014

As part of its continued growth plans, Remsol is launching an Associate Consultant Programme aimed at increasing the breadth and scope of services it can supply.

The programme is open to full members of relevant professional bodies, such as the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management, the Institute of Environmenal Management and Assessment, the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management and other, similar institutions and associations.

It is specifically aimed at self-employed consultants in a range of environmental disciplines, including: Flood risk assessment Environmental risk assessment Environmental monitoring Environmental permitting and planning support Environmental training Water management and treatment ISO14001 EMS implementation Land remediation CSR Waste minimisation and management Individuals that apply to be part of the programme will need proven expertise in their field, with at least two years relevant work experience for Junior Associates and at least 5 years relevant experience for Associates. Essential Criteria can be found at http://www.remsol.co.uk/12/section.aspx/319

Commenting on the move, managing director Lee Petts said: "The Associate Consultants we recruit to this programme will assist in the delivery of existing workstreams whilst also enabling us to broaden the range and scope of work we do in other, related areas.

"So whether that's delivering strategic business advice to SMEs that want to grow by going 'green' with the help of a Growth Voucher now that we're registered as Growth Voucher Advisors, or applying for environmental permits in the upstream oil and gas sector, we'll soon have the additional capabilities and added flexibility to do more. "The programme will also benefit those individuals that want the freedom of working for themselves, but with the protection and support of working under the umbrella of a larger company. We'll be responsible for sales and marketing, administration and billing so they can focus specifically on putting their acquired skills and abilities to good use, and all work will be conducted under the protection of our extensive business insurances."
