Refurbished Tickled Trout is busier than ever

The Macdonald Tickled Trout has been booming of late and is looking certain to continue this success going into the Autumn and of course, the Christmas period.

“We have more covers booked already this year than we did for the whole of the Christmas period last year, and so I know that this year is going to be a roaring success,” she said.

Another exciting addition to the Tickled Trout is multi award winning head chef, Joe Queen.

Following a £500,000 refurbishment, the hotel has some of the best boardroom facilities in Lancashire, a peaceful river location and nearly 100 free car parking spaces.

Of course clients using the hotel for conferencing can take advantage of the hotel’s new Scottish Steakhouse restaurant and Good Cup coffee in the recently refurbished lounge bar and with 98 bedrooms, classic, executive and River View rooms, there is also plenty of choice when looking for an overnight stay or a residential conference.
