Reducing energy bills and cutting emissions

William Lancaster of Ember Energy

It’s been a tough financial year for many businesses across Lancashire.

With energy bills on the rise, it’s no surprise that many business owners are searching for ways to cut down on their electricity expenses.

Luckily for local enterprises, that’s precisely what we do here at Ember Energy.

Back in September 2022, a local engineering firm, MAD Engineering, contacted us and explained they were looking for ways to reduce their carbon emissions and cut the cost of their electricity bills.

Here’s how we stepped in to help with a new 90KW commercial solar panel system…

  • Reducing their electricity costs
  • Cutting their carbon emissions
  • Generating clean, renewable electricity
  • Attracting new environmentally conscious customers

Since working with MAD Engineering, we’ve substantially cut their energy costs, boosting their savings and efficiency. Aside from that, we’ve shrunk their carbon footprint, helping them work towards a greener future.

We began with a complimentary on-site survey for the client. This involved evaluating the roof space to identify the best solar system for their needs, as well as, analysing their current energy consumption.

Following the initial survey, we needed to ensure that the new system we planned to install could connect to the grid, allowing surplus energy to be exported and sold.

For this reason, we submitted two separate applications to Electricity North West to determine the maximum export capabilities allowed.

Luckily for us, the application came back with export capabilities of 60KW and 30KW which meant we could get to work on installing a fantastic, brand-new 90KW solar panel system across the entire roof space.

Since the installation in January 2023, every kilowatt produced by the system has been  used on-site, significantly reducing MAD Engineering’s electricity bills. Our client was so impressed with the results that they’ve already recommended our solutions to other local businesses.

“We couldn’t be happier with our new solar panel system from Ember Energy. William was incredibly down-to-earth and his expertise was invaluable. It was such a quick, effortless process and there was no disruption to our business during installation.” - MAD Engineering.

Can we help your business save money?

If you’re a local business in Lancashire and have been interested in supporting a greener future whilst reducing your electricity costs, commercial solar panels could be what you’re looking for.

We can also provide FREE Solar Panel installation for commercial businesses across Lancashire, meaning you don’t have to spend any money upfront to start reducing your energy bills and cutting your carbon emissions.
