Red Rose Awards winner: ELE Advanced Technologies

Winner: Innovation Award, Made in Lancashire Award and Scale-up Award

About us

ELE is a specialist in the production of complex and high integrity super alloy components for the aerospace and power generation markets.

The company is one of only a very few component manufacturers worldwide that is able to offer the complete package of engineering processes required to fully machine hot-end components (turbine blades and vanes) for specialist applications.

Our achievements

ELE continues to innovate through investment in both new technology and by developing and attracting talent.

The ambition for sustainable growth has been supported by our investors at all stages in the past three years where the involvement with Lloyds Development Capital has resulted in a transformational change to the business, providing a solid platform for future growth.

What the judges said

“Innovation and continuous improvement are embedded in the ethics and ethos of ELE Advanced Technology.

“Despite the impact of Covid-19, ELE has grown impressively, scaling responsibly and sustainably, building a strong export client base.”

What’s next

The challenge for ELE this year is to continue to grow and we have already secured a superior order book compared to prior years.

We have outgrown our existing location and have now secured a new larger facility to accommodate further growth and success.

Our new facility is located five miles from the current Colne facility, where we will establish a best-in-class manufacturing centre.

The work has already commenced, and the new facility will be fully operational by end of 2022.
