Quiz Night at Hampton's: Business meets barking good fun

What happens when you stick six brilliant Lancashire businesses in a room with a six-round quiz and a cause close to their hearts?

Pure class, that's what. Just before Christmas, at Hampton by Hilton Blackburn, we hosted their first Christmas charity quiz.

Not your average networking do - this was proper competitive stuff with some of the county's loveliest folks putting their quiz heads on.

Love Letters 2 Hire absolutely smashed it.

Sharon Watson and her crew didn't just walk away with the bragging rights - they chose where the night's £300 would go. Pendle Dogs Trust got the early Christmas present (which we match-funded because we think they're awesome too).

Speaking of which, seeing local businesses getting stuck in for a good cause - that's what Lancashire's all about, isn't it? Six teams, one room, loads of laughs, and a fair bit of head-scratching over the tougher questions.

Hampton by Hilton, Blackburn - you proper legends for hosting it and getting the ball rolling on some corporate fun (it doesn’t have to be an oxymoron!).

The venue was spot on, and the atmosphere was exactly what we wanted - competitive but dead friendly.

Here's to more nights like this. Because sometimes the best business happens when you're not really doing business at all. Just good people, having a laugh, and making a difference to our local four-legged mates at the same time. Oh and by the way...watch this space for more of the same in 2025.
