Quadra celebrates 20th anniversary

Quadra Solutions, one of the UKs leading CAD and PCB Design specialists, is celebrating 20 years in business.

The Accrington-based design firm was founded in 1999 by four colleagues, Steve Dobson, Simon Dobson, Rob Hargreaves and Keith Watkins, all of whom are still with the company today.

Specialising in the provision of Autodesk CAD and Zuken PCB design solutions, Quadra has a long-standing, enviable reputation of delivering software, support, training and design services to a wide range of engineering industries, including manufacturing, construction, electronics and interdisciplinary.

The engineering sector has seen revolutionary changes in the last 20 years and Quadra has been at the forefront of these technological advances, helping clients to adapt, adopt and advance.

Since 1999, the company has expanded onto two sites, becoming a certified training provider for the prestigious IPC CID Printed Circuit Board Design Qualification and winning numerous awards for their service offerings.

Steve Dobson, managing director, says: "Over the last 20 years, Quadra Solutions have managed to build strong and long-lasting relationships with local businesses, with many of these relationships being over 15 years old.

"We recently found a news article from when Quadra first started out. It’s amazing to think how far we’ve come and some of the exciting projects and companies we’ve had the privilege to be involved with, over the last 20 years."

The company celebrated its 20th birthday by organising an away day for all members of staff. The day included Clay Pigeon Shooting, 4 x 4 driving and dinner at the Coniston Hotel near Skipton
