Lancashire Fractional CMO Sarah Lundy has worked alongside digital agency bjm.digital and the Issa Group to support the launch of OQO, bringing together marketing strategy, ecommerce expertise and a shared focus on the customer experience.
The brand, available at OQOLife.com, brings functional drinks, blends and supplements together around four everyday priorities: hydration, gut health, energy and sleep. Its drinks range includes Shilajit Energy, fibre iced teas and sparkling kefir water, with products designed to fit into people’s existing routines. The pivot revolves around the launch of a unique RTD containing Shilajit.
The launch marks the transition from DISO to OQO and the introduction of a new online experience. Working alongside Sarah, bjm.digital designed and developed the website, helping customers explore the range, build their own product combinations and subscribe through the Build Your OQOLife offer.
Sarah’s involvement has included strategy, brand messaging, tone of voice, customer journey planning, plus content and email strategy, alongside planning for the brand’s ongoing marketing activity. Working with the Issa Group and BJM teams, her focus has been on connecting the commercial ambition with the practical decisions needed to bring the brand to market.
Sarah said: “There are a lot of moving parts in a launch like this. You’re thinking about how to introduce the brand, how customers find the right products, what happens when they reach the website and how you keep that relationship going after their first order. My role is to help those decisions work together, giving the team a clear direction while staying close enough to the detail to help make it happen.”
The project also reunites Sarah with the BJM team and draws on her previous experience in the health and wellness sector, including supporting businesses through launch and rapid growth.
“It has felt a little like getting the band back together,” she added. “Working with people you know and trust makes a real difference. You can have honest conversations, challenge ideas and get on with solving things together.
“It’s been particularly rewarding to bring that relationship into our work with the OQO team. There’s plenty of ambition behind the brand, and it’s exciting to help turn that into something customers can now explore and buy.”
With the website live, attention is turning to brand building, developing the customer community and customer retention.
For Sarah, the project reflects the practical role of fractional marketing leadership: working alongside business owners, internal teams and specialist agencies to turn business priorities into coordinated marketing activity.
