Preston insurance broker bought by group

courierinsurance.co.uk, a specialist insurance broker based in Preston, has been acquired by New Era, which is part of the JMG Group.

courierinsurance.co.uk was established in 2012 and provides services covering courier van insurance, public liability insurance, breakdown cover and fleet insurance.

It will continue to trade as courierinsurance.co.uk and its team, led by director Simon Moores, will continue to work with clients out of its Preston office.

The deal is New Era’s first acquisition since becoming part of the JMG Group in March and establishes the business as a new specialist commercial motor division within the wider group.
