Prestigious new housing development confirms Colne as a sought-after location

In a huge boost for the town, developers of a new prestigious housing development have earmarked Colne as “a sought after location”. 

In a move that is being widely welcomed, Beck Homes are now delivering on plans to address Pendle’s lack of quality new build family homes – and boost stock in the area which has been limited over the past five years.

Ben Wilkinson, MD of Beck Homes said: “We’ve been looking at this location for a number of years now. This area of Colne is an extremely sought after location, but until now buyers in the area have had little choice, with very few quality homes coming to market.

“We felt that Pendle would really benefit from a high quality development of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom family homes and we anticipate a strong demand when we launch later this month.”

Spring Meadows, situated off Red Lane, is set to become one of the most prestigious addresses in Pendle and Beck Homes have teamed up with local agents Petty.

Ben said: “It was important to us that Petty had a good working knowledge of the local area and that they’re well established, well known and well respected in the area with a similar ethos to our own”.

“We see this development as being attractive not only to locals, but also people looking to relocate here from outside the area. Colne is easily commutable to Manchester and Leeds and has a lot to offer in terms of work life balance for a family.”

Beck Homes are on course to have the first properties completed and ready for occupation during spring and will be holding a VIP preview event soon, ahead of the official launch over half term from 23-24 February.
