Taylors has been appointed as a Legal Affiliate of the national organisation, Anti-Copying in Design (ACID).
Taylors is the only North West law firm to have been appointed as a Legal Affiliate and joins nationally-regarded Intellectual Property firms to work with ACID's UK-wide membership.This appointment reflects Taylors' heritage and expertise in the design field for its home furnishings, manufacturing and textiles clients. It currently works with many of Lancashire's well-known firms operating in these sectors.
ACID provides specialist help and advice to its members through its Legal Affiliates on all design-related issues and champions IP awareness and education in the UK economy.It recently launched ACID Marketplace, the UK's first online design exchange to create a safe trading environment for its members and also successfully campaigned for Parliament to legislate for criminal sanctions for registered trademark infringement.
