PM+M appoints Helen Clayton to its corporate services team

PM+M has strengthened its corporate services team following the appointment of Helen Clayton as a partner.

Her arrival follows the recent announcement that Stephen Anderson – the firm’s previous managing partner – will be retiring next year. Stephen was succeeded as managing partner by Jane Parry on 1st May.

Helen has specialised in audit and advisory work since qualifying in 1997. She started her career at Booth Ainsworth in Stockport where she worked with legal clients as well as SMEs operating across a range of industries including manufacturing and the service sector.

Helen joins PM+M from Deloitte’s Entrepreneurial Business team where she had worked since 2005; she was promoted to director in 2012. Whilst there, she had a mixed client portfolio that encompassed manufacturing, consumer business and foreign owned companies. Helen also advised several top 100 law firms on their audit and regulatory compliance, transactions and restructuring.

Her new role will see her take over a number of Stephen's clients as he approaches retirement. The focus will also be on growing PM+M’s legal client base as well as helping to expand its profile across North Manchester and the wider North West region.
