Pledging support to boost county skills portfolio

The Lancashire Skills Pledge recognises Lancashire businesses that are committed to inspiring, recruiting and developing the people of the county, and provides a simple front door to a range of funded skills and employment programmes.

With more than 150 Lancashire Skills Pledge members to-date, we have a growing network of committed businesses. Every Hot 100 firm and all businesses in Lancashire needs to sign up and get involved! The pledge is already helping Hot 100 businesses including Calico and One Stop Hire.

We know that many businesses aspire to develop their talent pipeline and give back to the community and want to understand the support that is available to find new recruits and to develop their people.

It can be difficult to find the time and the support to get involved - this is where we want to help and make it simple to start your journey.

There are seven Lancashire Skills Pledges and when you engage with one or more of the pledges you will be matched with a Skills Pledge Partner who will give impartial advice, providing you with the support you need to fulfil your pledges, and the recognition for the good work that you do.
