Petty appoints new senior sales negotiator

Local estate agents Petty, which is celebrating its 90th year this year, has appointed a new senior sales negotiator, Deborah Redmond at its Burnley branch as Anita Emmott, who has been with the company for 7 years has moved to the Colne branch.

Deborah started her career as an admin assistant at another local estate agents and over the past twenty plus years has worked her way to senior sales negotiator with various estate agents and was last with countrywide just a few doors down from Petty’s Burnley branch.

Deborah said: “I love the property business and really enjoy meeting people and being able to help them find exactly what they’re looking for."

Originally from Todmorden, Deborah has lived in the Burnley are for almost 30 years so has great local knowledge as well.

“I’m passionate about what I do and this area and I want to make sure the customer receives the best possible service. Customers are front and central to what Petty does so it’s been an easy transition for me so far and I’m really looking forward to working here.”

Simon Morgan, residential director at Petty’s, said: “As the areas only Relocation Network Agents we more than most understand the importance of getting the right staff with good local knowledge and experience. Demand in our area within residential sector means we always have to stay ahead of the game and ensure we have the right staff to service that demand. We’re extremely lucky and pleased to have Deborah with us. "She has a vast amount of knowledge and experience, and her enthusiasm to get things done is a definite plus. I’m sure she’s going to be a great asset to the company."
